MEASURING VOLUME

Welcome back everybody!!  Hope all of you had a GREAT holiday 🙂

1. Before you start this activity, click on Maths Dictionary on the left of this page and find Volume.  Write down what volume means on your sheet of paper.

2. Today your independent Maths activity is measuring how many cubes will fit inside these different closed 3D shapes.  Fill in your guess first (estimate), then put blocks into your shape on the computer and count how many it really is.  Then write in the answer.  This is MEASURING THE VOLUME OF A CLOSED 3D SHAPE.  🙂
