Wow – Drum Roll for Harvey!
Harvey made a real impact last week when he went to the Music Room to audition for the School bands. He is only in Year 3 but Ms Helen was so impressed that Harvey will be given the opportunity to jam with the older students and try out for one of the School bands. Harvey is a keen and talented drummer and he is very excited and looking forward to his first session with our bands. Go Harvey! 😆
TANGRAMS in GEOMETRY
Today we are investigating TANGRAMS. Watch these two videos to see how to make some of these tangram patterns! Remember the 2D shape names we have learned – especially the parallelogram. (the sloping quadrilateral).

This video is a challenge to make a rocket using your tans. Try and make the shape of the rocket by joining tans together. Then you can watch to see how to solve the puzzle properly.

Putting the World Back Together Again!
