Welcome back!

How exciting to all be back together for Term 3.  We wish Oli all the best as he starts at a new school in Byron Bay.  🙂

The first two weeks are going to be very active as we start SWIMMING LESSONS tomorrow (Tuesday) for the next two weeks.  We will be leaving at 11:55 each day and getting back in time for lunch, so make sure you have your swimmers on by the end of recess each day.

Our inquiry is Spinning in Space so we will be learning lots of interesting facts about our beautiful planet, Earth!  Looking forward to seeing you all again tomorrow.

What causes the seasons on Earth?

How can we explain these changes and why they are not random?

We will be talking about the seasons during Maths when we do “The Trip Around the Sun”, working out facts using calendars and the seasons. Have a go at watching this tonight at home and we can talk about it tomorrow at school.
[This is called ‘flipped learning’ where you guys get to do the watching in your own time and then we do the talking and interesting learning about it in class time.]
