AUSTRALIA’S NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES

We learnt about geography characteristics of place the other day.  Remember – natural and human features or characteristics.

Today you will be making posters about different countries which are near to Australia.

Use the website (created by another teacher below) which will take you to your video for your country and website links.
These things have to appear on your poster:

  • NAME OF COUNTRY
  • CAPITAL CITY
  • POPULATION
  • CLIMATE
  • LANGUAGES SPOKEN
  • CURRENCY USED (MONEY)
  • DRAW YOUR OWN FLAG
  • IMAGE OR DRAW A NATIVE CREATURE FOUND THERE (animal and/or bird- say what it is)
  • INCLUDE A MAP OF THE COUNTRY
  • IMAGES FOR FOOD
  • IMAGE FOR TRADITIONAL HOUSES
  • IMAGE FOR SCHOOLS
  • IMAGES FOR TRADITIONAL FOOD

TRY TO USE COLOUR AND WRITE YOUR OWN HEADINGS TO MAKE IT EYE-CATCHING AND PERSONAL !
