MEASURING VOLUME
VOLUME is how much space is inside a closed shape, like a box.
Estimate how many cubes will fit BEFORE you put them in. Write it down and then check afterwards to see how good your guess was. Change the size of the box to test yourself.
MUST DO: At least 5 different box sizes.

UPDATE FOR PARENTS
New spelling lists are under Spelling at the very top of the blog header or look under PAGES on the left-hand sidebar.
This website is very helpful. Students practice Look, Cover, Write, Check with their current words.

Most parents indicated they would like to be able to e-mail me, so I have added an e-mail contact form for you to use to contact me. It is on the right-hand sidebar 🙂
VIEWING YOUR PENGUIN POWERPOINTS
Look on the right-hand sidebar and click on the powerpoint that says Leopard Seals’ Penguin Powerpoints. It is under the heading Authorpoint Powerpoints. If you click in the middle of the picture, it will take you there to view your group’s powerpoint on the web.
Great job, Leopard Seal Group!!
BIG QUESTION WEBSITES FOR INFORMATION
I am so pleased with the way you are working together to find information for your big questions and then sharing the jobs to create your posters or books! Well done, everyone!
Here are two websites with lots of information on polar creatures. You need to go to the A-Z and choose your animal from there. Keep up the good work!
