Makerspace – Constructing our Shelves

What an awesome team we had to construct our new shelves!!!  You worked together as a team: talking to each other, helping, discussing, but most of all you were sharing ideas and suggestions as you created a beautiful set of shelves (drawers) from a bunch of different sized pieces of plastic!!

Then – when it was sloping and not standing up correctly, you fixed the glitch and made it work!

Love your team effort, boys!  😎

WORLD KINDNESS DAY – 13 NOVEMBER every year

Thank you for remembering World Kindness Day today – 13 November.  I hope you acted out some form of kind act today: maybe helped someone out, complimented someone, smiled at someone or were just thoughtful and friendly during the day.

This video shows how far the ripple of your one thoughtful and kind act can spread through the world (and how you will never actually know just how far that ripple is being felt).  The best thing about being kind, is that it’s often the person who is being kind who feels the benefit too.    I wonder if we could track some ripples of kindness in our classroom over the next few weeks too….?
